Feature Creatures Burlesque

Join Honey Tangerine Productions and Bar Redux for a tribute to the pulp cinema and drive-in movies! Starting at 8:30pm we'll have a screening of Lair of the White Worm with live riffing by The Box Office Bombs followed by a tantalizing evening of Burlesque by Miss Fancy, Anjle, Trombone Squirty, Dick Jones and Cece Dynamite! And don't forget your concessions: we have popcorn by The Laughing Lotus and movie theater candy available.

Writer’s Block Party
Bar Redux, in association with Honey Tangerine Productions, is proud to bring you WRITER’S BLOCK PARTY; a monthly gathering of writers from the greater New Orleans area. We’ll be showcasing eight spectacular authors sharing some of their best and boldest work. Be they short stories, short fiction, flash fiction, memoirs, poetry or even an occasional excerpt from the next Great American Novel, this is a forum for everyone and anyone whose relationship with the written word can only be described as, “It’s complicated...”
All hosted by the Crescent City’s most celebrated unknown, your disaster of ceremonies, Joaquin Emiliano.
The show kicks off promptly at 9pm, so slide into your best set of artistically rumpled clothes, leave your berets at the door, and come party with the lowdown literati.
