Burlesque Imitates Art

Burlesque Imitates Art is a semi - annual art show featuring burlesque performances based on the unique style of local artists. Burlesque dancers and artists are paired together two months prior to the show opening and tasked with creating an original work of art and a corresponding performance in relation to the show theme. While the art is on display for a month, the burlesque show can only be experienced during the opening night theatrical performance. Each edition of Burlesque Imitates Art features a unique and rotating cast of local talent.

NOLA Nerdlesque is a two day performance festival. We'll be bringing burlesque performers from all across the country to the Big Easy to celebrate and satire our favorite pop culture and nerdy properties. Shows will take place between November 3rd and 4th 2017 at the prestigious Contemporary Arts Center, New Orleans. The CAC is a fully equipped performance venue known for putting on interesting and evocative shows. The festival will also include workshops and parties for performers and a few lucky VIPs.
